Positive Effect
Project idea within "Alternative investment detector" aimed at NEET youth integration into the labour market
Through the "Positive effect" initiative, we aim to support young people at the beginning of their careers - from career planning to job search and workplace adaptation.
Each person registered in the project undergoes vocational profiling, during which their learning needs and motivation to participate are identified. At least 60 young people will take part in motivation and active labour market activities, including training, workshops, career counselling, psychological and social worker support, and other necessary services. We select and prepare 30 young people for specific job positions announced by employers by providing them with essential basic skills and employer-specific competencies to help them retain employment. The duration of this training varies from 1 day to 1-3 months, depending on the participant's knowledge, skills, and employer requirements. We also mediate the employment process.
If the participant meets the employer's expectations, they begin on-the-job training, which may last up to 6 months. During this period they are employed under a formal work contract and receive a regular salary. However, additional workplace support is provided. For 12 participants, the project guarantees financial support, compensating travel expenses to/from the workplace up to €140/month, for no longer than 6 months or the duration of the on-the-job training.
Upon completion of the 6-month period, participants receive a certificate attesting to their acquired knowledge and competencies.
The project is open to youth aged 18-29 who currently are not employed or in education/training and belong to socially vulnerable groups, including:
- Persons with disabilities;
- Long-term unemployed (more than 6 months);
- Former residents of childcare institutions;
- Social benefit recipients;
- Individuals at social risk;
- Persons released from correctional institutions;
- Migrants;
- Persons with addictions.
Project duration - 1 June 2021 - 30 November 2023.
