About the project

Project goal - to develop a structured employment platform tailored to the needs of socially vulnerable youth aged 24-29. Through the application of the Work Integration Social Enterprise (WISE) model, the project seeks to provide at least 300 young people across five EU countries with on-the-job learning (apprenticeship) opportunities, helping them acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully integrate into the labour market.

Target groups include: youth with disabilities, Roma youth, migrants, early school leavers, and young people with low qualifications.

VŠĮ Žmogiškųjų išteklių stebėsenos ir plėtros biuras brings extensive experience in labour market (re)integration projects. Building on this expertise, we recognise a significant gap in youth competence development in Lithuania. By implementing this project together with our partners, we aim to ensure that young people from socially vulnerable groups have the best possible opportunities to integrate into the labour market and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills.

ŽISPB project objectives:

1) Support the integration of 60 socially vulnerable young people into the labour market through apprenticeships;

2) Develop and promote the WISE model within Lithuania;

3) Organise Local Stakeholder Committee meetings to foster dialogue and cooperation;

4) Pilot, implement, and evaluate an on-the-job learning model in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
