Functions of psychologist(s) in the organization:
Individual and group psychological counseling, motivation (live and remote means);
Conducting training for social work specialists, nurses on psychological topics;
Organization of psychoeducational classes for visitors of the institution;
*Participation in international project activities (international trainings, seminars, conferences, business trips, implementation of project activities)

VšĮ Žmogiškųjų išteklių stebėsenos ir plėtros biuras provides a decision-making support service for persons of working age with intellectual and/or mental disabilities. The purpose of decision-making support services is to strengthen a person’s ability to take care of himself and make daily decisions with the help of a decision-making assistant or a team of specialists, in order to achieve independent living and participation in all areas of life.
If you have experience working with people with intellectual and/or mental disabilities, can work in a team and independently, are proactive, active, and not afraid of challenges, we invite you to join our team.
The assistant is subject to the following requirements when making decisions:
Higher Education;
12 month experience in social work with persons with mental and/or mental disabilities (on the basis of an employment contract or volunteer basis).
The decision-making assistant performs the following functions:
helps the client understand the information needed to make a decision in the relevant area of life (using the format of easy-to-read and understandable language);
helps the client make a decision in the relevant area of life, based on the client’s will and wishes, identifies and helps to consider decision alternatives;
presents the client’s position and/or decision in the relevant area of life to third parties and assists the client in communicating with third parties;
identifies what help the client needs and together with the client looks for ways to provide that help;
carries out a consistent description and documentation of the strategies used to help the person in the client’s file, which would allow justifying why certain decisions and risk management strategies are taken.
encourages his client to recognize his abilities, names the resources available to the client.
Salary from 700 EUR per month in hand. The specific salary depends on work experience, education, abilities and is discussed during the job interview.
