We have signed a partnership agreement with the Raseiniai Crisis Centre!
From April to May 4 training sessions will be organized for the staff of the Raseiniai Crisis Centre to improve their skills. The training sessions are also attended by social workers, personal care workers, specialists, and counselors from Jurbarkas, Radviliškis, Pakruojis, Mažeikiai, and Ukmergė.
We are happy that the first two training sessions “Strategies for coping with emotional stress and self-help techniques” and “Conflict resolution through mediation” were attractive and well attended.
In May, professionals will have 2 more distance learning sessions on “Social work in the context of suicide: prevention and support” and “
“Social work with addicts”.
Training for volunteers is also foreseen to ensure the training of new volunteers who will provide complex counseling services.
The training will consist of 4 cycles: basics of counseling, motivational interviewing, suicide risk assessment and support in case of suicide risk, and basics of addiction counseling.
